Stephen "Stevie" Markovich is a former club kickboxer who was blessed to have trained in one of the best Martial Arts clubs in the world. It's called the Degerberg Academy of Martial Arts in Chicago. There is no way to describe this place. Check it out: 4717 N. Lincoln Avenue, Chicago, Illinois.
The owner and top trainer is a guy called Fred Degerberg. Fred is a genius and visionary. He brings in world champions in their respective arts who would then share their skills and decades of knowledge with the participants in an open type of seminar.
The material and content in these seminars covered everything from attitude, training techniques, "spirituality," every type of fighting skill imaginable, and even personal liberation.

Fred has appeared in movies, helped train the late John Belushi, was a bodyguard for Jimmy Carter when this president was in town, and the list of Fred's credentials wold take volumes to write.
